Our Commitment

We want you to be happy with your purchase. As a small business, we carefully select and inspect our products before dispatch. We ask customers to choose carefully and review product information before placing an order.

Change of Mind Returns

Child Collective does not generally offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

In exceptional circumstances, we may consider a return request at our discretion if:

  • The item is unused and unopened

  • The item is in its original packaging and resaleable condition

  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery

  • The customer covers all return shipping costs

Approved change of mind returns may be issued as a store credit rather than a refund.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during transit

  • Faulty due to a manufacturing defect

  • Incorrectly supplied

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the fault or damage

Once assessed, we may offer:

  • A replacement product

  • Store credit

  • A refund where required under Australian Consumer Law

Exclusions

For hygiene, safety and quality assurance reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened sensory products

  • Digital products, downloads or printables

  • Gift cards

  • Products that have been used, altered or damaged after delivery

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Return Shipping

Where a return is approved due to a fault, damage, or incorrect item supplied, Child Collective will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For all other approved returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
